Honoring Loved Ones

The perpetual trophy, called the Ó Conghaile Cup, honors the memory of Monica Bean Uí Conghaile Kearney, my beloved mother. She passed away in Milford Hospice 20 years ago. She is sadly missed by her 7 children and husband, Peadar Ó Conghaile. This special cup represents community, remembrance, and support.

Health, Fitness, and ADHD Support

Staying active benefits both physical and mental health. For those with ADHD, exercise and proper nutrition can improve focus and brain function. Regular activity helps manage energy and reduce stress. Participating in sports at any age boosts overall well-being. In addition, the match highlights how fitness supports brain health, longevity, emotional balance, and friendships.

Continuing the Support

The cheque for €3,216 was presented to Milford Hospice, who were delighted with the amount raised. The community’s generosity reflects a shared commitment to care at the end of life health and in addition to health and support for others. A big thanks to all again who contributed to making the day a huge success and to The Limerick Post Newspaper for the write-up.
