Fight Fatigue and FibromyalgiaNutritional Therapist and Fibromyalgia

I’m Sinéad Dundon, The Tummy Tamer, a Nutritional Therapist. I’d like to support you on your journey to health. Creating this event linked the talents of other amazing health practitioners. Nutritional therapy advice from myself and other Nutritionists gave practical support . I spoke about ways of coping with inflammation using healthy, healing foods. Identifying and removing harmful foods is the best place to start. I offer food sensitivity testing to narrow down the potential problem areas. Knowing which foods could be adding to the cause  is essential. As well I gave advice on using beneficial foods and herbs. In addition, Michelle Nutritional Therapist from PharmaNord spoke. In addition, she gave advice on various supplements. There is evidence for supplements like Magnesium and CoQ10 that can help key problems. These can be  helpful for reducing pain, brain fog and fatigue.

Systematic Kinesiology

Fibromyalgia, above all is a problems with muscles. Therefore we had 2 guest experts to give advice. Namely Sheila O’Hanlon as one of the keynote speakers. Systematic Kinesiology uses the testing of muscles to find imbalance in the body. It links Chinese energy medicine and the physical body. It gets feedback from the body about the problem and solution needed. It’s is a gentle effective treatment. It helps with pain, headaches, poor posture and past injuries or trauma.

Myofascial Release Therapy

After that we had Jinny Ross a Massage Therapist. She spoke on the benefits of Myofascial Release Therapy. Studies support the beneficial use of Myofascial release for Fibromyalgia. The muscles should slide over each other for ease of movement. Injuries or stiff, painful muscles or trigger points can cause pain. This can be due to stickiness of the fibers of the muscle coating called fascia. Massage therapy, can be useful, however it can be very painful. Myofascial release is much gentler, As well as relaxing tight muscles. It is good for increasing mobility, for improving lymph and blood and circulation.
